The Rapid Detection X-ray Security Screening System is a revolutionary new way to screen passengers, luggage, and other items for weapons or contraband at airports.
It's easy to use: simply place your belongings on the conveyor belt and watch as they are automatically scanned with fast-moving x-rays. The system then analyzes the images and uses an algorithm to determine if there are any abnormalities in the image that may indicate a weapon or contraband. If so, it alerts security personnel immediately and they can stop the conveyor belt to allow them to inspect your items more closely.
The Rapid Detection X-ray Security Screening System is designed to be both highly effective and extremely fast—in fact, it can scan up to 1,000 bags per hour!
The rapid detection x-ray security screening system is a revolutionary new way to screen passengers and their baggage for weapons, explosives, and other contraband. The system features a unique design that allows an individual to pass through the machine in less than five seconds while still providing a high-quality image of the contents of their bags.
The system consists of two main components: the x-ray machine itself, and a computer system that processes images taken by the machine. The x-ray machine is mounted on top of a conveyor belt that moves at a rate of one foot per second. When an individual steps onto the conveyor belt, he or she is positioned directly under the x-ray machine so that it can take an image of both his or her body and any carry-on items.

After taking an image, the x-ray machine sends it to a computer where it is processed into gray scale images using software developed by our engineers in collaboration with researchers from MIT and Johns Hopkins University. Once these images have been processed and analyzed by our software, they are saved for later review by security personnel who may want to view them further before allowing someone access through security checkpoints or onto airplanes.
