The High Penetration X-Ray Baggage Scanner Machine is a high-powered, portable x-ray scanner that can detect and retrieve hidden objects from baggage and other objects. The machine uses an ionizing radiation source to generate high-energy electrons, which are focused on the target object to produce x-rays. This process creates an image of the object's internal structure on a detector screen, allowing it to be identified and retrieved.
The scanner is designed for use by law enforcement agencies and other government agencies in investigating crimes involving the concealment of illegal items on persons or property. It can also be used for metal detection at airports, train stations, ports, highway checkpoints, border crossings, etc., where it would be impractical to use other types of detectors due to their size or weight.
The machine is equipped with two independent working circuits: one for detecting metal objects and another for identifying non-metal objects based on their density. It can scan up to 10 inches in front of its operator during motionless use; however it does not require any special training or licensing before being used by law enforcement personnel on duty.
